Wainuiomata Activating for the Hikoi

Wainuiomata Marae had the privilege of hosting 200 whānau from Tainui Waka – Kingitanga who arrived in support of the Toitu te Tiriti Hikoi in Wellington City to Parliament.

In true Wainuiomata fashion, they had a warmup protest for the big event the following day lining the streets of Parkway in anticipation for their manuhiri. What an amazing afternoon it was!!!
